    • About half of it has blown away today, which still looks kind of cool…the only downside is, it’s been doing damage to the power grid due to the sheer weight on the lines. We’ve been without water service all day.

I don’t know if I could paint it either. The lost edges are the hard part. That and the subtle colours. This time of year is like living inside a pearl.

      • Oh, sorry to hear the trouble with the power grid & water service. I hope that it gets back to working soon. Not something you want to be out of especially this time of the year.

That’s an interesting thought. living inside a pearl. I like that. :-) Hope yall stay warm!

        • We had a couple of nights down close to -30C (around -20F) but at least the water and electric have stayed on this time. (Whew.) It’s been a lovely holiday week — hoping the same for you.

          • Thanks! It’s been great. Christmas, early morning started off with thunderstorms that turned into snow by afternoon. So we had a white Christmas in TX :-) My parents, who we were doing video chat with in MN, didn’t quite share our excitement. :-) Looking forward to the new year. Hope you all are staying warm!
