Giveaways: Indie Art, Indie Books

It’s Our First Ever Like Total Giveaway Thingie

With some artistic trepidation, I’m going to post two potential cover designs for Parenting in the Name of God. I hope they look awesome, but I need you to let me know. I’d greatly appreciate comments on what looks most suitable. Tuesday seems like a good day for that. Come look, comment on Tuesday’s big reveal, and be entered to win one of two beautiful art prints we contracted to choose from at Elasah Art. (Drawing for two prints, giving away one of each to two separate people.)

Kerry Nietz’s interview is coming right up. I’d like to give away a set of Kerry’s books. They just have really worthwhile things to say. On Thursday, come read Kerry’s interview on being a novelist, women’s rights, maintaining freedoms, and facing the future’s potential fears. Leave a comment on Thursday’s interview, and be entered to win the set of two books. (Drawing for two books, giving them away as one item.)

I’ve never done this giveaway stuff here at Scienda before, so I could use some help retweeting, Facebook linking, and blog mentioning. For simplicity’s sake, both draws will stay open till midnight CST, Thursday June 3. Draw winners will be announced on June 4.

  2. Ooooo, I just ordered his new book (thanks to a wonderful person who bought some of my work;)) and am rereading the first so when it gets here I am ready to go. :)

And will be doing lots and lots of retweeting/etc .

Excited to see what people think, also incredibly nervous about what people think. :)

    • Me too, on both counts…thanks for the word-of-mouth.

Had my very longish nap, now off to watch Princess Bride with the man I’ve hardly seen this weekend.

      • Oh have fun. The kids are sick of Princess Bride so I am waiting till they are in the mood for it again. :) Enjoy the hubby person.
