Valentine’s Post #1
That’s right, for a brief time only, Mr. Adventurepants is joining me in defining the Scienda look. There is mischief in this corner. (That face on him right there is the one he makes when I’m being a total punk, for the record.) Also, in honour of the most climatologically misplaced day of romance known to the northern hemisphere, AKA Valentine’s, we are running a brief series of posts which will feature Mr. Adventurepants and his stellar influence on my life.
As my grandmother has been wont to say, “You’re lucky he puts up with you. He’s such a peach!”
Thanks, Grandma. Not what you say about my father…but thanks. At least I have good taste. If you like fruit, anyway. There has got to be a better way to describe my husband.
Well, I’ll take a few days and see what I can come up with.

Well, looking at the picture, at least half of “…I’m no very big and I’m awfully shy…” probably doesn’t fit. Though I must admit I wasn’t aware Kenneth Branagh was Canadian. And, yeah, the two of you make a cute couple (I’m old enough to get away with saying something like that).
That is so sweet.
Yeah, he’s a broad-shouldered farm boy, not some skinny emo kid. Also not very shy at all.
“cute couple”
Thanks.
You’re young enough to get away with saying that too.
