Why thank you! I love your bees – and the redwing blackbird in flight. HOW do people capture birds in flight? I’ve never had success with that.

The bird was shot, high-res, at a much greater distance and wider angle than presented here, then digitally cropped for the zoom in. Four or five shots in a row, with this being the best. Birdie’s just a little black spot in the original.
The girls squealed and giggled the entire flight, and, I think, nearly drove the pilot nuts. Not two minutes into the air with boys and Dave, Goose said in typically laconic prairie style, “Hm…The boys are sure quieter.”
